Speaking with Showbiz, the president of TY Crew Gospel Inc.,
organisers of the event, Patrick Yaw Adjei said, ‘‘TY Crew, a
non-denominational gospel music team is aimed at spreading the gospel of Christ
through music. We believe it’s one of our major social duties to breed a godly
generation”.
He said the group was motivated to host another peace
concert this year when gospel music icon, Sonnie Badu was elected Peace
ambassador.
TY Crew was part of the finalists for the first edition of
TV3’s Celebrations Reality Show where they placed third. The group also backed
Sonnie Badu at his Africa Worships programme held at the Accra Sports Stadium
last two years.
This year’s event is being sponsored by it’s patron, Apostle
Francis Amoako Attah of Freedom Chapel, Accra, with support from Sonnie Badu
Ministries, Timothy Bentum Ministries and the National Commission for Civic
