In Love With Jesus on Val’s Day

As the season of love approaches, many are the activities that have been lined up to mark it.

One of such is the In Love With Jesus Street Concert happening live on Sunday, February 14 at the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, Dansoman.

In its fourth edition, this year’s event will host award –winning gospel music duo, Willie and Mike of Favour and Mempene fame and Pastor Cynthia Maccauley of Nkɔmhyɛ fame who will showcase exciting times of singing and dancing to win people over to Christ.

The three and a half hour non-stop praise and worship open air street concert is organised on Valentine Day by the Shekinah Kavod Ministers, a dynamic entourage of psalmists, minstrels and worshippers.

Willie and Mike is a gospel duo based in Kumasi, Ghana. It comprises Asamoah Williams (Willie) and Adomako Michael (Mike). They shot to fame on the back of their version of Sonnie Badu’s song, Covenant Keeping God.

Cynthia MacCauley’s style of music is basically a combination of traditional gospel rhythms other danceable gospel tunes

The leader and founder of Shekinah Kavod Ministers, Lady Pastor Mrs Mercy Boahene Nyadanu, told Showbiz, “This year’s event includes activities such as a time of praise and dancing before God, choreographed dance pieces and the ministrations from the guest artistes”.

Pastor Nyadanu who also leads the group to host Live Worship with the Shekinah Kavod Ministers on Sunny FM every Saturday added, we choose every Val’s Day to organize this programme because we realised that the world has misconstrued what love is and has associated the day with carnal activities.

We in Christ, have therefore chosen to gather the children of God to express our love to Jesus Christ so that we won’t be defiled by the day and the activities of the world”, she concluded.
